Have you all dear Vox readers a unforgetable Merry Christmas!
When do you start your holiday shopping?
Being in a consumer oriented society, we keep buying at all times but if we talk about Christmas, then we should agree everyone, I always look foward those discounts in big stores but I don't sacrifice sleep hours! :)
I've ever thought I will like it but definetely it is a wonderful series book and after reading Marc Shapiro, unauthorized biography about the author that only thing I can say she's inspiring and hard worker writer. Two quotations impress me a lot, being a divorced lone mother:
I've made my mistakes in that area [divorce]. Just because you've got a good brain doesn't mean you're any better that the next person at keeping your hormones under control"
And about her obstacles trying to feed up little daughter she said:
I had a degree, a profession, and friends who were willing to lend me money when I badly needed it... So if I met obstacles pulling myself outof the benefits system, how much more difficult must it be for people who don't have the same advantages? Seven years after becoming a lone parent, I feel qualified to look anyone I meet in the eye and say that people bringing up children single-handedly deserve not condemnation, but congratulation"
She likes to find natural remedies to heal what ails instead of grabbing something over-the-counter for quick relief. Of course, it’s important to know the source of the information so as not to end up feeling worse than before. Delving into this area which is full-to-the-brim with information is immensely interesting, and surprising because of the amazing things one learns, and it’s fun.
Apple Cider Vinegar is good for many things. There are books written just about ACV. Bragg’s is a very good brand. I have Dr. Earl Mindell’s Amazing Apple Cider Vinegar book. He’s been in the natural health field for years.
I came across some of Jacob Teitelbaum, M.D. writings. He healed himself from chronic fatigue syndrome (CFS) and fibromyalgia when he was in his 20’s, and had to drop out of medical school for a time. I’ll definitely check out his books, some of which are, From Fatigue to Fantastic, Three Steps to Happiness! Healing Through Joy, and Pain Free 1-2-3! His is an interesting story.
I’ve heard and read about the many uses of hydrogen peroxide from lots of different sources. I’ve heard two mischievous comments about this. Someone told me that my tongue would turn black if I used hydrogen peroxide as a mouth wash. That brought an interesting picture to my mind. Another person said my teeth would corrode. Hmm! Two reasons for having reliable sources of information. Once upon a time, I took a health course, and came away with, among other things, a double-sided paper listing the benefits of hydrogen peroxide-the kind bought in a drug store. The list is still packed away in Brad’s shed. Some day I’ll retrieve it and copy it for you. That sounds like a plan.
We know about garlic’s power. Garlic is great. Don’t worry-chewing on parsley will eliminate garlic breath.
This is fun. I’ll go through notes I’ve collected from here and there, and add more soon.
In the meantime, let’s get rid of negative stress, and laugh more. That sounds like a plan, too.
What was your favorite TV season finale this year?

7th Heaven. Of course. I enjoyed seeing depart the VR and all that stuff with this 'perfect' american family!
David was in Vilcabamba and he was able to learn first hand how the aging people in this country town in Ecuador get to live over 100 years!
[... If I am to throw in my ten cent’s worth, I think their secret lies in their ability to laugh, take a deep breath and enjoy the simple things that life has to offer!]
Now pay attention to this: "The most special attribute of this extraordinary place is the ability to age gracefully. Not a fake smile or pair of pinned back eyes in sight! In fact aging is seen as it should be! People are given more and more respect as they grow older. It is said that in Vilcabamba getting old is actually something to look forward to, being more mature and growing as a person are seen as a positive not a negative, all rather refreshing compared to our obsession to stay baby fresh!

- Do not wear your prized Chuck Taylor hi-tops to a visit. They ask you to take your shoes off when you’re weighed and measured, and if you already have problems stretching (like me), then this can take a much longer time. than anticipated.
- Always eat something before you get your blood drawn.
- Always make sure your belt matches what you’re wearing for that day. You’ll be very embarassed knowing you wear brown/purple and jeans and then you start showing off a plaid belt.
- Spit your gum out before you enter the doctor’s office.
- Make sure you’re alert and not daydreaming when the doctor is talking to you. ‘What did he say about my meds again?…’
- And make sure you don’t dream off again when you get your meds described the second time.
